Woodside contracted Delmar Systems to develop a mooring quantitative risk assessment (QRA) tool capable of assessing possible threats from mooring failure.

These include consequences to surrounding surface facilities, pipelines, and environmental sites. A drift off analysis was also completed; site-specific metocean was analyzed from a synthetic collection of cyclones. Probabilities to risk events were then adjusted to account for drift probability in specific directions and distances.

  • Automated risk tool
  • Surface and subsea risk events
  • Cyclone drift analysis
  • Auto risk assessment report output
