ANADARKO NEPTUNE SPAR TOP CHAIN CHANGE OUT

23 October 2009

In 2009 Delmar Systems provided offshore engineering support for the top mooring chain change out on Anadarko’s Neptune SPAR in the Gulf of Mexico.

Delmar Systems' engineering group developed a global mooring model of the Neptune Field to monitor mooring line tensions and clearances with risers and other subsea assets real time during the mooring line replacement. All top chains were successfully replaced without incident or damage to the existing in-field assets.

  • Offshore engineering support
  • Real time monitoring during operations
  • Risk mitigation to subsea assets
