Noble Clyde Boudreaux mooring supervision offshore Brazil

2 April 2014

Delmar Systems was asked to provide the structural foundation for a Pipeline End Termination (PLET) holdback and permanent installation support for the provided suction pile during one of the most challenging deep-water projects offshore Brazil.

Parque das Conchas (BC-10) lies in approximately 1,780 meters (5,840 feet) of water. Shell has a 50% interest in the project and is the operator.

The location represents one of the most challenging deep-water projects in the region.

Unexpected thermal movements of an infield flowline required the installation of the additional restraint to limit the PLET movement and jumper loads.

Using site-specific engineering and equipment the pile was permanently connected to the PLET.
