Cost-saving in-field mooring system for PSV
Delmar Systems designed and provided an in-field mooring system to support a Platform Support Vessel (PSV) while on station at the ‘Mari B’ platform, offshore Egypt.
The objective of the assignment was to furnish a buoy for the PSV to moor when in-field in order to save fuel and operational hours.
The mooring system equipment was provided by Delmar Systems relative to anticipated service life, vessel type/size, and frequency of use.
Delmar System personnel were provided onsite during both the installation of the mooring system at the onset of the project as well as during the demobilization upon completion.
