Shell has awarded Delmar Systems, Inc. the status of being banded a “GREEN” contractor in their internal HS&E Management System Assessment. This status means that Delmar at least meets or in some cases exceeds HS&E expectations as a contractor to Shell.

Shell’s detailed review process looks at all elements of how the contractor’s HS&E management systems (HS&EMS) and programs bridge-up to theirs. To achieve GREEN status, the contractor’s HS&EMS must be in place and consistent with Shell’s Contractor Safety Expectations. This includes working with Shell toward “Goal Zero” (no fatalities or significant incidents).

“It has never been more important that we continue on a path of HS&E excellence and systems improvement,” said Marcus Henry, Delmar’s HS&E Manager. “This recognition reinforces Delmar’s commitment to the highest safety standards in the industry as evidenced by our zero recordable incidents or lost time accident status over the last 465 days. We must continue to challenge ourselves to become better safety leaders and strive to make every operation at Delmar a safe one.”
