Another Successful Subsea Project Completed

Oil Rig on the horizon with the setting sun behind it

Delmar recently installed nine subsurface buoys in 5,600 ft in the Gulf of Mexico for a floating production facility. These buoys were installed in-line to support approximately 900 tons of subsea hardware, enabling the tieback to the Spar. All nine subsea buoyancy modules were installed by free-flooding the equipment, lowering to depth, connecting to the mid-line plates, and dewatering the modules by introducing nitrogen. The construction project was safely completed three days ahead of schedule without any incidents. The mooring expertise and subsea construction supervision provided by Delmar was key to the success of the project.
